Running
My daughter had a hockey practice and she forgot her water bottle so.. I decided to run it to her π
It was colder than I was thinking when I started this run today and was wishing I wore my other gloves. However, as things progressed I was feeling better and decided to run a mile longer than I had planned. Oh and my last mile and a half both my shoes were untied π
ππ»ββοΈ It is hovering around 15Β°Fβ¦ Seems like the logical time to get outside and run. π
Finally got cold enough to make it challenging out there today with ice under the snow. I was not anticipating that or the wind / blowing snow. However, it felt good to step away from all the meetings today and get outside.
Loved the white scenery today so I decided against my better judgement to hit the snow covered trails. Mostly they were good but the boardwalks made me nervous as they had some tracks and were covered. ππ»ββοΈ
With the fresh snow and that it kept snowing most of the morning it made sense to get out there and make some tracks. The perfect day to go for a snow run! π¨οΈππ»ββοΈ
Was up early again but had to wait a little longer to get out for a run as the temperature was 32Β°F. Not that it was much warmer when I went but the sun was peaking out more during so in my mind it kept me warmer. I might not have packed appropriately for this cold run π€·π»ββοΈ.
Short run today as I had some earlier all day meetings today. Definitely a little colder out today and the wind blowing.
I really do like running in the morning and watching the sunrise. It was more humid than I thought it was going to be after running in cooler weather for a while but having the Ocean view made it all worth while.
With taking a kid to the doctors and team meetings all day I gave myself 25 min to run. I was guessing how long it would take me and gave myself a little cushion but finished in 24:42. Didnβt miss any meetings π.
Since we still have this nice weather I decided while my girls were at dance I would go run across my hidden bridge again. Only too bad it gets dark so early as once I got back on pavement to trek back it was dark.
Going to give this a go with a picture directly and see if this gets sucked into Micro.blog
Found a gap in my calendar early today and took advantage of it. Decided to explore some trails I havenβt been to in a while.
In between all the stuff today I found some time for a run. I am kind of surprised I had these trails to myself today as the last couple of times I have come across people. ππ»ββοΈ
Had to take it real easy as it got dark fast and these boardwalk and trails require some decent footwork with no running lights. However, it was a well neede break today. ππ»ββοΈ
Found the hidden bridge I was looking for but also another one too π. Overall run was good after starting off a little rocky by tripping over rocks on a trail covered by leaves π€·π»ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ.
Even though I am still not feeling 100% I needed to get outside today. Decided to go out and catch the sunset on a boardwalk trail run. ππ»ββοΈ
Richard T. Anderson Conservation Area is one of my favorite places to run but it is all hills. My Lungs were burning a little today from a nagging cough so I didnβt push it and just enjoyed the views.
