Hockey Tournament weekend again… Let’s go Eagles 🦅 🏒
Was a cold one out there today so it was just a meandering run on very familiar paths. Decided to take the backyard trail but it was very rough as no one seems to maintain it.
Had the time today to peel away from my desk and get a little longer run in before the snow flew this afternoon. I had no real plan on this run but found myself on this trail that doesn’t have too much snow yet to be a problem.
Took Big Darbs on a walk tonight who guided the way with his light on his collar 🐶🔦
Had to go pickup the van from an oil change today so the only logical way was to run there. I should probably avoid this tunnel but I didn’t want to cross the major road so just ran fast.
Making fresh tracks while the snow was falling today on my run. Don’t get me wrong when I was on the sidewalks I was a little nervous about slipping but I didn’t slip or fall only scare was a dog that lunged at me on his leash and snagged my running pants. 🙄
I need to sync up some passwords on all of my devices again as I am currently unsure what my password is on an older Macbook Air as I have had to change all my other ones 🤦♂️
Rounding off the weekend activities with the oldest playing some Swag Ball 🏀
Saturday night means Swim meet for the youngest.. Let’s go! 🏊♀️
I don’t know if I trust that ice on the lake yet… That is ok I will continue my run around it. Not to bad out, still feeling good but it is just January and not overly cold today.

Seems to be some issues with my cable modem and I need to go reboot it. However, that is all the way back in the house so for now I am just going to use my T-mobile backup that we decided to bring home from the camper for the winter… Problem solved 😆

Avoided this icy tunnel I ran by today. I was glad to get the millage I was shooting for with my limited time and felt good out there even at the speed I was going. Still early in the year but maybe a good sign.
Time to start off 2024, no plans yet but need to get my running fitness back up after my time off and feeling under the weather. This run felt good till after as I need this cough to go away. Slow and steady…
Over a year ago I got the brainy idea to host my image uploads on another site I have and just link them in M.b. Decided to fix that and put them all in M.b. I think longer term it just makes sense to have it in one spot. Not sure if anyone else does something different but would be curious.
It seems especially dark in the “office” today even with all the windows open and my normal small light on. I might have to turn the top lights on before this next meeting as I fear people might think I am sitting in the dark. Maybe it is just extra dark due to working a full day today 😆.
