After a couple days off I decided to put a couple miles in while my youngest was at her piano lesson. I was in no hurry and enjoyed the scenery. I wasn’t feeling bad before and still good after but my legs were doing some talking during this run.

🎬 Bullet Train - This was the perfect movie to watch after an exhausting day. Probably isn’t a show for everyone but I appreciate the style and action.
Another Twin Cities Marathon in the books. Overall, I am happy with my time as I wasn’t slower than last year even though it was an interesting training cycle. Official time 3:38:48

Best thing about working from my shed office… My youngest just got off the bus and ran to the backyard so excited to tell me about her day. Then her and her friend, since the weather is nice out, are playing in the backyard. Good visual distraction on a late Friday afternoon.

Most likely the last run till Sunday. Not sure why my hip started giving me some pain during the last half mile but hope it was just a fluke.
Stretching the legs out again as the day is getting near. As my friend said at this point the biggest objective of these last few runs is to not trip and fall 😆
Goodbye RV 🚐...
A couple of weeks back we finally said goodbye to our RV as we watched drive out of our driveway for the last and final time. It was a bittersweet decision to sell as we cherish all of the memories the big beast brought our way. It won’t be the end of our camping journey though but it is just another chapter. We decided that the kids enjoyed our seasonal campground site and it didn’t make sense to park an RV on it so we decided to settle in with a travel trailer that would give us a little more space and can just sit there year round!
Really will miss that specific site at the seasonal spot though, there is not another one like it on the property where you can be almost isolated. However, it is an RV only site so we had to move on.

Had to motivate myself to get out there today but it was really a nice day out. With one week to go, a lots of curveballs of life plans have made me worried of my overall goal or fitness. However, so close now I will just get it done with no expectations.
Might be time to say goodbye to the Garmin as now there is the Apple Ultra in town 😱 ⌚️
You know it actually feels lighter and looks smaller than my Garmin.
