πΈ Photoblogging - Day 23: Meaning
Sometimes the days take a different turn than you expect…
πΈ Photoblogging - Day 22: Rest
Overall it was a relaxing kind of day today but I did find some time to do a little exploring. Not a bad view from this new trail at Willow River State Park ππ»ββοΈ
πΈ Photoblogging - Day 21: Space
Great day to hike around Willow Falls and was thankful the overlook space was open to enjoy this view.
πΈ Photoblogging - Day 20: Sports
Letβs just say my son and I made a sport of how we could game the high score to get the most tickets. When we started the high score was 540 and we ended it was 800 π.
Note his sisters loved the points to get more trinkets
I mean come on people, do we have to complain about everything π€¦ββοΈ. Personally I actually enjoyed the music when I hit mile marker 23 it was the end of the climb and not much left π€£.

πΈ Photoblogging - Day 19: Mirror
The water had a mirroring effect this morning from the glow of the sunrise.
Old sites
It has been so long since I have actually logged into and looked around at my WordPress powered UpNorth.blog site that I realized so much stuff is outdated.
Right now I push all the content from Micro.blog there as it was how I set it up a year ago and I actually donβt mind the process flow. Nothing that gets pushed over there is published to the front page unless I want it to be and have to log in to make it happen. Otherwise all of these posts are kind of hidden in the background. I know if you really wanted to find it you could but you might have to dig a little or know what to search for. There has only been a couple times in the past year that I have taken a post I published on Micro.blog and made sure it hit the main page of that site.
As I keep looking at the couple of site pages I have, I found my about page hadnβt been updated for 4 years as it talked about some work I did with a different non-profit. Also, I realized I had a newsletter subscribe and archive link there that I havenβt even sent anything out since 3 years ago as well.
I guess I am trying to figure out the purpose of this site as anything I want to share or post I publish to my Micro.blog site. I donβt really need a professional site of any kind so it is almost a backup of my Micro.blog which isnβt the end of the world but I have been thinking about changing things up again.
Uh oh… π
Looks like I need to wrap up work quickly as I am getting the forced reboot and the snooze is greyed outβ¦ π€¦ββοΈ

πΈ Photoblogging - Day 18: Finished
Some days you have to start extra early to find time to finish everything. It was quiet still at 6am as I was finishing up a run which I started closer to 5… π³
πΈ Photoblogging - Day 17: Compass
One of my favorite most interesting things I got from my Grandpa Cloutier was a 1921 Ansonia Clock Co. Sunwatch with compass.
πΈ Photoblogging - Day 16: Rotation
Another rotation around the sun and the Boo has turned 7 π»π… Happy Birthday π₯³
πΈ Photoblogging - Day 15: Ethereal
Seemed like we had the place to ourselves today at the Great Wolf Lodge
πΈ Photoblogging - Day 14: Wheels
In honor of todayβs prompt I took the OneWheel out for a ride today. So fun! But something I havenβt done as much this year for risk of injuring myself π€£.
Doing a little work from the shed again today. Always good change of scenery but it is getting a little cooler out. I might have to move up my electrical timeline π
One year Micro Blogging π₯³
I believe today marks my one year of using Micro blog or at least based on my post from a year ago today (my one year being a paid member is coming up). However, with that said I now see my On this Day page doesnβt work π (add that to my list to look into another time).
Thinking back, I canβt believe it took me so long to find this platform or maybe I saw it and didnβt think to use it.
Either way I have enjoyed the past year learning about what is possible and in some places figuring out a work around or how it can work for me. Honestly, the best part of Micro.blog is the community and acquaintances that I have made through this platform. It kind of fits with what I have always looked for when blogging. I do it mostly for myself but if someone else reads it and finds it interesting then great. Also, since it is ingrained into everything else on Micro.Blog then I can find others that are like minded and interested in similar topics.
Even after a year of using Micro.blog I am still not entirely sure what my setup is going to look like but for now it is working and the linking I have done between my older WordPress blog works.
πΈ Photoblogging - Day 13: Animals
This is where this animal sleeps all day while I work nearby
πΈ Photoblogging - Day 12: Legend(ary)
I think I know what I might fire up this weekend… I canβt even count the hours I have spent in my younger (and older) years playing this game.
πΈ Photoblogging - Day 11: Hygge
Everyone wants to lay next to the doodle but she just likes soft blankets… πΆ
I really enjoy when October rolls around as my youngest always drifts to one of my favorite Halloween books to read and listen to. I prefer listening to it as the delivery of the lines are much better π
πΈ Photoblogging - Day 10: Bridges
Decided to take to the foot bridges today through the woods and prairie… ππ»ββοΈ
