Had a break in meetings this morning so I got this run in with the time I had. The only bummer when trying to squeeze it in like this I struggle to cool down quick enough before quickly jumping onto my next call. Rain was the theme of this run today as it rained the entire time. I got less than a mile in and it then rained hard the rest of the time. I guess on the bight side my shoes got cleaned. A narrow, wet path winds through a misty forest with early spring foliage on the trees and a layer of dry leaves covering the ground.

Before this run I actually talked myself out of going up a mile this week thinking with everything going on I should take rest. However, as I kept going I then got to a point that I thought what is 2-3 more miles.. Well those 2-3 miles you can see I was tired but glad to get the miles in.

Got this run done before it rained the rest of the day. It was a good break in my morning after being heads down on work and before meeting in the afternoon.

2025 Software Subscriptions

I have been feeling like I have too many subscriptions lately so I thought I would actually write them out. I will say what is excluded here is streaming services, the ones below are ones I personally have signed up for even though a couple are more family based but to me it makes sense in this list.

  1. I don’t use this for the full year I normally subscribe for a month or two and then let it go for a while for my total below I assumed 6 months. ↩︎

  2. This is the current price per year but I think for my main account I already have bought about 20 years worth. I add on years from time to time as way to support Adam the developer. ↩︎

  3. This is a new one for me starting in April and I think based on the cost of other VPNs I might give this a go for a while. ↩︎

Thankful that my flight this morning got in earlier than I expected and home before I was thinking. I took that extra time to get a run in as I had pushed my meetings back and got some work done on the plane. Felt good to get moving after an early morning and lots of sitting.

After a late night of traveling and no real plans for the day until tonight, I was still up early and of course I had packed my running gear. So with no real idea where to run so I just started from the hotel and actually found an area in some houses interesting to explore. Of course this last minute purchased flight to Texas last week has me on a really delayed flight. However, I appreciate the updates all day Flighty.

Flight F93223 from MSP to DFW, scheduled for 10:55 PM, is delayed by 2 hours and 13 minutes, now arriving at 1:37 AM.

Fun watching this girls first day of track this year due to swim conflicts. She got 5th in the 400nand was super happy with that. She said for her 100 she thought they were still warming up so she wants a redo as she just jogged it. 😅

This run felt harder than I think it should have but even at the start my legs were tired so not surprised that last mile was real work. Other than that it was nice outside and I took a few new paths to pass the time.

This could get dangerously unhealthy for me now that I have found a good use for my families Ninja CREAMi. I will say the Oreo Ice Cream combination is delicious and really tastes like a blizzard. 🍦😋

The track meet for my daughter might have been canceled due to weather but I decided to give it a go. Didn’t get to rained on and only a little lightening and thunder but I was able to fishing before it really started pouring.

Found time today to get out for a run which I was very thankful for but my whole body felt tired. Might have been due to a little lack of sleep and stuff at work or might have just been a little warmer than the past two days. Either way now I am glad to have gotten out to enjoy the weather.

Work on some more additions to the already great Micro.publish and decided to add a toggle now for my note renaming (original plan) and then after getting images yesterday decided to figure out how to get GPT alt text support so I could elimiate an extra step I currently do today to post. Settings interface showing three options: “Delete images after upload,” “Rename note after publishing,” and “ChatGPT API Key (for alt text)” with toggles, two of which are activated.

I continued down a rabbit hole last night to see if I could get image uploads as part of the Micro.Publish plugin (created by Otávio). I have it now where there is a toggle to delete after upload and or keep with the local vault. Now what is next… 😃

Wasn’t planning on going for a run tonight but it was great to convince my running friend to get out with me tonight. Honestly, that was the best part as it has been a while since we last ran so as I told him whatever the millage was going to be I was good with it.
