    @Parag nice work! I do like starting the day out with a workout. I biked to work for a handful of days years ago and I didn’t mind it too much but some days I worried about it being too humid even in the early hours.

    @jthingelstad wow I can’t believe you have done that many! Now seeing how you didn’t make it out in time for the 2nd one, how many have you not made it out of? My memory of posts I have seen you make for them most of them I think you have. πŸ˜€

    I might have to check that one in Portland out on one of my many visits.

    @birming I find myself in the same situation for a lot of different things. If I have a very tight timeline I will knock it out consistently but given lots of time it just might not happen. Keep up the consistency though!

    @mathyousee yeah it seems like we can’t catch a break. As otherwise it is raining 🀣. I guess I don’t mind the rainy runs unless it is a thunderstorm.

    @jthingelstad Happy Anniversary! Looks like your whole family is having a blast on QMSB trip so far. I think I could comment on all of your posts as I am catching up but you have now added a couple things to my list of checking out so far. Enjoy the trip!

    @birming @manton yeah it does get a little confusing depending on how you choose to publish to the blogs as well. Then there is pictures that is another little wrinkle. I used my two one being more of a status like yours is so it was text I didn’t want on my main feed and I posted there via a shortcut to mastodon (which then pulled the feed into my status type blog). As I said the only thing that threw me off is if you wanted to post a picture it might get stored then in your main site or if you specifically change sites and post it to the status one then you will want to remember to change it back or for me I like having them all in the same spot. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

    @Parag this one runs on propane or wood. However, we have only ever used propane as it is always easier. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

    @birming would it bother you if it was on your blog but somehow filtered out of the archives or maybe even the main page? I have sometimes thought about having short posts just get put somewhere else. My quicker fix for right now and you could do the same if you have Premium is create another site for just short posts. I will say I am rethinking how I have done that but it is always an option.

    @POAPChallenge @jthingelstad @quinntchrest nice! I have thought of doing such a thing but not yet. Though I might have to if summer gets close to an end and I am still not there yet πŸ˜ƒ

    @Parag love this picture!

    @news I was thinking I ran into an issue updating things and then sending it through Obsidian but assumed I did something wrong so manually fixed it. However, going back and trying it again I this must have been throwing that off as well so great to hear it is fixed!

    @Parag I can completely align to this…. I keep telling myself I am sure I will find time soon. πŸ™ƒ

    @birming nope Obsidian is free and the plugin is free. Now you have me thinking I should really update the plugin I modified of his to allow people if they want to the ability to upload pictures. I have a very rough working copy of that that fits my overall need to get stuff published but it could be a lot better. I know he was working on that feature a couple months back and had a better idea than I was implementing as mine would simply just upload the picture and then give you back the markdown to store for another day with no real option to keep a local picture or it would keep it but not link it in the note (if that makes sense).

  • Replying to: @birming

    @birming yes that is possible in fact. If you are looking for the one to use with Micro.blog check out Micro.Publish from @otaviocc. I have modified what he started (not the plugin I am using) to allow for photos to be uploaded but it is a little rough right now but works for me to get my photos to Micro.blog.

    @jthingelstad I assumed it was something like that but I do like the feature! Really great work on POAP2RSS!
